FADROFADRO

How it works

FADRO audits one public web page at a time and explains what it finds in plain language.

1. You enter a web address

We tidy up common typos (for example, adding https:// if it's missing) and reject addresses that aren't public websites.

2. We fetch the page safely

Our server requests the page like a basic visitor would, without running any of its scripts. We follow up to 5 redirects, stop after 10 seconds, and read at most 2 MB. We also check /robots.txt and your sitemap.

3. We run the checks

  • SEO title and meta description
  • Heading structure (H1–H6)
  • Image alt attributes
  • Canonical link
  • Meta robots and X-Robots-Tag directives
  • HTTPS and page response status
  • robots.txt and sitemap accessibility

Full Website Audit

Starting from your homepage, FADRO reads robots.txt and your sitemap (including sitemap index files), then follows internal links on the same website. It inspects up to the page limit shown on the form, 2 pages at a time, within a total time and download budget. It respects robots.txt, never submits forms or logs in, and skips login, account, cart and checkout areas, files, and URL patterns that can loop forever.

If your homepage redirects between www and non-www, both are treated as the same site. Other hosts, ports or protocols are never merged.

Internal link destinations are checked with lightweight requests. Only confirmed 404/410 responses count as broken; timeouts and refusals are reported as "could not verify".

The site score combines 70% of the average page score with 30% from site-wide checks (broken links, redirects, duplicates, canonicals, indexability, sitemap, internal linking). Potential issues and skipped checks never lower it.

4. The FADRO score

Each check has a weight. A check earns 100% of its weight if it passes, 85% for a note, 50% for a warning and 0% for a high-priority issue. Checks we couldn't run are left out rather than counted as failures.
