Broken Link Checker for Your Website

Updated 10/14/2026

Broken links send visitors to dead ends and waste search engines' crawl effort. FADRO's Full Website Audit checks the internal links it finds on the pages it inspects.

How results are labelled

  • Broken: the destination returned 404 Not Found or 410 Gone.
  • Server error: the destination returned a 5xx status during the audit. It may be temporary.
  • Redirect loop / too many redirects: following the link never reached a final page.
  • Could not be verified: the request timed out or was refused (for example 401, 403 or 429). These are not counted as broken, because many sites block automated requests.

Limits to know about

The audit covers only the pages it inspected and a capped number of extra link destinations. External links to other websites aren't checked. If the limit is reached, the report says how many destinations were left unchecked.

How to fix a broken link

  1. Find the page that contains the link (the report lists it).
  2. Update the link to the correct address, or remove it.
  3. If an old page moved, add a single redirect from the old address to the new one.
  4. Run the audit again to confirm.
